An Uplifting Evening…

So the crazy women… Tess, Donna and myself had a great time at the balloon festival.  There were thousands of people, but we found a good place to watch the balloons and shoot.  At the beginning of the evening there were three parachutists who jumped out of a plane and landed on the field where the balloons were setting up.  What a beautiful site to see them floating across the sky and once they landed they acknowledged the applause and took the time to have their photos taken with some of the children as well as a “crazy woman”!

Last September 28, 2012, the three members of the CWPC (Fay a.k.a. Lala, Donna and I) went to the Plano Balloon Festival.
Every time Lala plans to have an outing, I always get so excited,  not just because we can practice our skills in photography but also, all of our
outings always turn  out to be too much fun.

It’s my first time to see a live balloon festival, unfortunately there were not “balloon riding” events.  Lala and I would have loved to ride…  right Lala?

Tess sent me this next photo and I couldn’t remember ever seeing that many balloons in the sky at once.  But then again, they were going up so quickly.  So I asked her about it.  Tess is not to be trusted, you know.  Ever since she learned some photoshop, she creates suspicion.

And then I thought back to that evening.   As we were watching the balloons, there was another photographer standing next to us.  He was from Arkansas and we got talking.  He was obviously an ardent photographer and pulled out his cell phone to show us a photo of a bunch of bright balloons in the sky.  It was gorgeous!  That’s when he told us he photoshopped many of  the balloons into the photo.

So Tessie… have you been up to no good?

Great job of photoshopping!  You could have fooled me!
