  1. I do love little ladybugs, and they are fun to shoot as they don’t flit off as quickly as some insects!

For those of you who would like to purchase a good alternative to a macro lens… try using extension tubes. These are stackable and contain no glass but simply place your lens further from the sensor for a closer image. Check them out. You must be sure that they are compatible with your camera brand (such as Canon or Nikon, etc.) Under “search”… put, Kenko Extension Tubes.

  2. Pretty bug, nice image. Leads my mind to wandering…

    Ladybug, ladybug. Fly away home.
Your house is under water and your children will drown.

    (Updated version.)

  3. I recently saw ladybug eggs for the first time. I’m enjoying the perspective of scale with having just seen Tess’s wider version of earth day challenge to this more selective version. And I want to eat those greens right now, ha! Nice, Venus.
