October Challenge: An Ordinary Moment… Entry #4 Go Ahead! Pick One!

It is so good to have Vickie back and entering photos again! She sent this our way but I do not know the story behind the photo. Perhaps it is her personal collection of rolling pins or maybe that of a day in the life of a pastry chef. Regardless, it makes for a striking image and worthy of framing to hang in a kitchen!

  1. This photo to me brings back such fond memories of the rolling pin my mother used as I was growing up. One of the handles was broken and I threw it out and now, in retrospect, I wish I had kept it. She always made a homemade crust for her pies, as do I.

I love the nostalgic feel of this photo, your depth of field, as well as the lighting!

  2. Vickie,
So nice to see your work again. Welcome back.
I did not expect this to be your ordinary day. I was thinking of a gavel and hammer, either way this is stunning.
    Thanks for sharing.

  3. 6? Looks like a lot of work! I instantly think of my Grandmothers and Mom when I see these and I’m so very thankful for the love and memories they represent. I would never have guessed to see such an image in the ordinary challenge and am very impressed!
