January Challenge: Black and White… Entry #8 The Tree

RebeKah has chosen a tree as the subject for her black and white image…

“This tree captured my imagination on a recent foggy day. The lack of color in the color version just insisted this become a black and white. I try not to overdo trees as they seem to be a favorite with photographers and get shot a lot but I want to use this recent one.”

  1. rebeKah,
Very nice black and white!!! I find shooting trees very interesting myself. No two are exactly like….they look different in the different seasons….and they can really add to making landscaping images nice. This tree you chose looks great with a mixture of bare branches and more dense ones! Well done!

  2. This is fabolous. Love the B&W too. Are those mistletoes? Great choice rebeKah. You can resubmit this picture again for the next month’s challenge, and just as a quote. Faylala will go more crazy. LMAO.

  3. Thanks everyone! I like your thinking, Tess! Is that seriously mistletoe?

FYI, our “Other Robin” won 2 First Places at the Richardson Photo Contest this weekend!
She bested others who are quite experienced to win first in both:
Adult Altered Image Color, “Attack Of The Irrigatisaur” and Adult Still Life Color, “I’m Not Regan”. Anyone who would like to see a virtual version of the entire exhibit which had record participation with 370 can do so by the following 3 links.
