May Challenge: April Showers Bring May Flowers… Entry #4 My Rose

Debbie, a.k.a. “Abstract”, also sent a rose photo my way and what a beauty it is! I wasn’t quite sure if she would send an abstract image or the real deal. This is the real deal!

“This is one of my peach color roses growing in my flower garden. It was the only one so far that has turned out perfectly. Nothing is more beautiful than a perfect rose!”

And how true that statement is. So here is Debbie’s “perfect rose”…

  1. Debbie… this is a luscious photo! I do love that it is indeed a perfect rose with no brown spots, or damaged petals. The delicacy of the rose is evident with the soft focus and the gentle play of light on the petals. A beautiful image…

  2. Debbie, I don’t see the rose much with this peach color in photographs or even live and yours is lusciously pleasing. Very nice.

  3. Debbie,

This is so beautiful. I love the softness of the color and the way you blurred the background.

I agree with Robin, you can frame this and would be perfect in your entrance.

    Very good job!

  4. Debbie,
Very nice! I also like the “softness” you captured with this image. What a beautiful and delicate looking rosé! You did a great job with blurring the background and I also liked the angle you used allowing you to see underneath one of the petals! Good job!!!

  5. I agree with the others, the softness of the photo capture the gentle nature of the rose! I’ll bet the whole bush is beautiful! Nice shot!
